My first real writing gig was given by my best friend Irene. She runs Ianphotography with her fiancé. She asked me to write couples’ introductions for the book they are printing for a wedding exhibition. I was more than thrilled. Some are too creative for general public, so I post my favorites here! Personally for me, these aren’t just photographs. These are stories of successful relationships. They are magic to me.
BIG FISH - The Story of Satrya and Annisa
They say when you meet the love of your life, time stops. You suddenly hear the absence. You suddenly wish to fill the silence with her presence. You notice that your clock performs differently, integrating her in your life. And when that happened, Satrya knew Annisa is the love of his life.
He worked very hard to know her. It took him hours and days, patience and thoughts, humility and wit, unwavering determination and unyielding commitment to have her in his life. And through all those hard work, something changed within Annisa. When she knows, she knows to run borders for him. To change the unchangeable for him, to unlock the bolt of her heart and let it open to embrace him.
Sometimes love is a tall-tale in human’s watch. Something so grand and impossible to attain, it often reduced to clichés and wishful thinking. But love is a journey. And in the face of love, sometimes time make concessions and stop. When it does, it only takes two courageous human prove that love is indeed the only means to the extraordinary.
